The 1st of the 36 Cut Files for Stitching is a Flower Background!
For my layout, I cut the Flower Background onto white cardstock and then used lots of colors of thread that match Blooming Wild to do a chain link stitch through each petal. Each petal took about 6 minutes to stitch and there are 132 petals. Once I finished stitching, I trimmed about 1/4" from each side and then replaced the edges with strips of rainbow striped Paper 10. In the center I added a 3x4" photo matted with Floral Die Cuts and topped with a Puffy Phrase Sticker, butterfly & bird Ephemera Die Cuts, Mini Flower Puffy Stickers, and a little journaling on a label sticker from the Sticker Book. In the gaps between some of the flowers I glued a small Flower Charm. I love all the colors and flowers!

I love adding hand stitching to my projects as it gives so much texture and a handmade look!"
