The 3rd of the 36 Cut Files for Stitching is a Heart!
Design Team Member Phil Donahue created this sweet page! He says, "For this layout I featured photos of the newest member of my extended family! My best friend gave birth to Avery Grace in early December and she's been a happy, hungry, and sleepy newborn ever since! This simple, yet beautiful Heart along with Paige's Garden Shoppe collection perfectly showcase photos from the joyous day. To begin, I cut the file from the beautiful quilt Paper 9. I backstitched the pattern using white thread which popped on top of the colors. I placed the photos on the top left corner and layered paper flowers fussy cut from Paper 2 around. I added a cluster on the bottom right corner of the page for balance. Each cluster was embellished with sentiments from the 8-Page Sticker Book, Cardstock Stickers, and copper foiled hearts from the Foam Phrase Stickers. To finish I splattered white acrylic paint. I hope you found some inspiration in this layout and decide to venture into the world of hand stitching! Happy scrapping!"

Here is another layout made with today's Heart from the 36 Cut Files for Stitching by Guest Designer Chrissy Tingey! She says, "I love to stitch on all my layouts and crafty projects! I have created many layouts which feature a heart at its center so to add stitching to the heart adds some extra interest. I decided to stitch the heart using black thread onto white cardstock. I then stitched some extra colored rows around the heart to coordinate with my flowers. The beautiful blue and orange flowers were fussy cut from a Splendid paper. I have also used the same flower from the Acrylic Stamps and made additional flowers. I layered the stitched heart onto denim paper from Splendid which I also stitched around - this creates a frame for my layout. I arranged all my fussy cut elements around my photo and the beautiful stitched Heart!"

Here is another layout made with today's Heart from the 36 Cut Files for Stitching by Guest Designer Sahana Abhiram! She says, "This page is all about butterflies inside the heart! I used a chain stitch with blue floss and have used papers from Bloom Street. There's a lot of little beads and cute butterflies with beautiful florals from the collection embellishing my page. I decorated with glitter strips, pretty lace, and enamel dots with a picture of me and my mini me. There's also French knots on the flowers to give a little detailing. I totally enjoyed creating this beauty. Hope you like it!"

Here is a final layout made with today's Heart from the 36 Cut Files for Stitching by Guest Designer Emma Kate! She says, "Hey scrappy friends! For this layout I have used the Heart for Stitching cut file paired with Paige's Truly Grateful collection. I used a chain stitch with white thread. On each section of the heart I added a piece of patterned paper. I then cut the entire heart out so I could raise it up off the page to add some dimension. Lots of fussy cutting & a sprinkling of sequins later & there you have it!"
