The 31st of the 36 Cut Files for Stitching is Best Friends Forever!

Design Team Member Jackie Ashton created this sweet page celebrating friendship! She says, "First I cut the file from white cardstock and then chose threads that corresponded with the Blooming Wild colors. After stitching the design I printed my photograph to fit onto a cut-apart journaling card, adding some layers behind using patterned papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad. To embellish I added flowers from the Cardstock Stickers and Mini Flower Puffy Stickers. I placed the little birdhouse and bird from the Ephemera Die Cuts with 3D foam to add dimension. Under the stitching I added the hearts border from the Ephemera Die Cuts and added the ‘together’ word from the Puffy Phrase Stickers. Thanks so much for stopping by!"

She says, "I love documenting my friends' birthdays so when I saw this cut file I fell in love. I stitched with different shades of orange thread using different types of stitches. The result is a combination of 3 shades of orange and fun textures! For the background I chose Paper 20 from the Splendid collection and decorated it with butterflies from Paper 3. I used a tag from the Ephemera Die Cuts to write the journaling and hid it in the envelope behind the photo. Lastly, I added a label sticker to put the date and little details with enamel dots!"
