The 8th of the 36 Cut Files for Stitching is Scalloped Borders!
Design Team Member Kelly Daye created this stunning page! She says, "I chain stitched each row using 11 DMC variegated flosses. I love seeing the color-way appear as I stitch along. I wanted to stitch a pretty rainbow, modified for my own personal sense of color, ha! All the embellishments and papers are from Blooming Wild. My title, Grüezi, is Swiss-German, and how you say hello where these photos were taken in Lucerne, Switzerland. I used the fabulous Chipboard Alphabet Outlines to make my title then embellished with Mini Flower Puffy Stickers, Floral Die Cuts, Puffy Phrase Stickers, and Ephemera Die Cuts. Thank you so much for coming by!"

Here is another layout made with today's Scalloped Borders from the 36 Cut Files for Stitching by Guest Designer Chrissy Tingey! She says, "I love these Scalloped Borders! It is so versatile. You can use it as is or try it this way. I stitched them then decided to cut them into strips and push them closer together. I layered them onto a patterned paper from Splendid, four pointing to the right hand side of my layout and four pointing to the left hand side. I’ve left the edges of the pretty patterned paper showing. I then fussy cut the pretty floral elements from a Wonders paper and also used the flower from the Splendid Acrylic Stamps. I love this flower stamp. I stamped and fussy cut some other flourish and foliage elements, then arranged these around my photo and on top of the stitched scalloped borders!"

Here is another layout made with today's Scalloped Borders from the 36 Cut Files for Stitching by Guest Designer Teresa Medeiros! She says, "I really like how soft the all-white scallops look on the pretty pink background and how well they go with these photos of my youngest daughter. I used the beautiful Splendid collection and because I can't get enough of stitching, I added flowers from the Cross Stitch Kit too!"

Here is another layout made with today's Scalloped Borders from the 36 Cut Files for Stitching by Guest Designer Sheena Rowlands! She says, "I was inspired to scrap recent photos taken of my husband and I swimming in a waterfall in Laos. By turning the borders bump side up I felt they created a watery feel so I stitched them with two yellow/blue/green variegated threads to continue the water theme. I was brave and then cut into the finished background with a scalpel to be able to tuck my photos behind the ‘waves’. I embellished with the Wonders collection and there is a process video on my YouTube channel!"
