Blooming Wild MemoryDex Cards by Paige Evans

I love creating MemoryDex cards! Here are 4 using Blooming Wild to go into my perpetual tray.
I purchased this mint wooden tray a few years ago and am filling it with cards made with all of my American Crafts scrapbook collections: Go the Scenic Route, Wonders, Bungalow Lane, SplendidGarden Shoppe, and now Blooming Wild!
This is a continuation of my Pink Paislee MemoryDex (click on that link to see them ALL!) which coincidentally filled up completely with my last collection under the Pink Paislee brand, Bloom Street.
For the first Blooming Wild MemoryDex card I fussy cut 6 rainbows from Paper 6, poked holes through the stripes, and then used coordinating colors of DMC embroidery floss to stitch through them using a combination of a chain link stitch, back stitch, and French knots. I trimmed a piece of pastel grid Paper 5 to 4x5", used the MemDex Punch to make the holes (I have some available - message me if you're interested in purchasing one!), and machine stitched around it with white thread. I layered the rainbows across the front and placed a transparency "colorful" sticker from the Sticker Book at the bottom. I placed a Mini Flower Puffy Sticker on each rainbow and then scattered hearts from the Puffy Phrase Stickers in the gaps between the rainbows. To finish, I used a Crop-A-Dile to attach an eyelet through the top right corner and then made my own tassel with jump rings and Flower Charms.

For the second MemoryDex card I designed a flower wreath cut file and cut it at 4.5" from white cardstock. I had my machine cut out all the little backing pieces from the multi-patterned and colorful hexagons of Paper 4. I spent some time gluing all the tiny pieces in place and flipped it over then said "ta-da!" I love backing cut files :) I backed the open space with clear transparency and then used strips of foam tape to make a ring on the back side. I sprinkled sequins from my stash into the middle and then placed a solid piece of the same floral wreath shape on the back to make a shaker! I'm new to this shaker business and I love it!! On the front I placed "blossom" word from the Puffy Phrase Stickers and topped with a flower also from the Puffy Phrase Stickers. I made the base from the green floral Paper 5, glued the shaker at the top, and it's ready to go into the tray!

For the third MemoryDex card, it is actually one I'm teaching how to create at the Crafty Fiesta in a few weeks! I made the base from the pink floral Paper 23. Then I die cut a few hearts from white cardstock and glued them together to make it sturdy. I used my Rolled Flowers Cut File, shrunk them down to less than 2", and cut them from Paper 15 with lots of different patterns and colors. I glued the rolled flowers onto the heart and then attached the heart to the card base. To embellish I adhered a "Love" Chipboard Sticker to the front and topped the "o" with a Mini Flower Puffy Sticker. I tucked leaves from the Floral Die Cuts under the top right and bottom left edges. To finish I made a trio of hearts on the bottom right corner - one from the Cardstock Stickers and two from the Puffy Phrase Stickers.

I usually only make 3 MemoryDex cards, but I always like to have an envelope filled with info about the collection, so a 4th one was a must! I die cut an envelope from the floral Paper 24, stitched around it after punching the signature holes, then embellished it with Floral Die Cuts, butterflies and a globe from the Ephemera Die Cuts, and a Chipboard Sticker that I topped with the Blooming Wild logo. The cards and tags are from the Journaling Spots and cut from Paper 1 and Paper 9. I wrote journaling, added 2" square photos, and embellished here & there with Chipboard StickersMini Flower Puffy StickersEphemera Die Cuts, and Floral Die Cuts!
I've added these 4 cards into my MemoryDex tray and it sits on top of a cabinet in my happy scrappy place!
Let me know if you have any questions about any of these cards or MemoryDex in general!
I also have a MemoryDex class available here: https://bit.ly/februarymemorydex
I absolutely love seeing this tray get more full every 6 months with a new set of cards! Some Sugarplum Wishes cards coming up next!
