Hi friends and happy (almost) Easter! It’s Audrey Mutschall here with a new layout featuring Paige’s Cut and Fold Easter Bunny Background Cut File. This is a great cut file to showcase both sides of a pretty double sided patterned paper! I’ve used Paige’s new Blooming Wild collection for this layout and I’m so happy with how spring-y it turned out!!
I used Paper 3 to cut out the Cut and Fold Easter Bunny Background Cut File and folded the bunny halves over to reveal a fun plaid pattern on the back side of the paper and an open space on the other half of each bunny. I backed the cut file with Paper 5 so that my Easter bunnies looked primarily white to contrast with the bright ombre yellow and pink of the paper used for the cut file. I used foam adhesive to hold down the folded-over bunny halves, making it a little easier to layer my photo and embellishments on top of the cut file. I printed my photo 3.5x5" in size and matted it with Paper 2. I placed it on the left side of the layout and then embellished around the photo with Floral Die Cuts, a button Chipboard Sticker, a label from the Journaling Spots, and a sticker from the Sticker Book. I used one of the cut-apart elements from Paper 1 as my title and placed that beside my photo. I embellished it with a rainbow Ephemera Die Cut, a Chipboard Sticker, Cardstock Stickers, and one of the Chipboard Rounds. Lastly, I splattered white acrylic paint onto the background and added some Mini Flower Puffy Stickers on a few of the bunnies.
I hope this inspires you to try one of Paige’s Easter-themed cut files! She also has a cut and fold one with Easter eggs that’s super cute!
