Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here today and I’m so happy to share a new scrapbook page with you featuring the Half Flower Cut File and Paige’s Blooming Wild collection.
I cut the Half Flower from white cardstock, backed it with Paper 18, and then used Paper 6, Paper 8, Paper 12, Paper 19, and Paper 24 for the petals layered on top. For these petals I adhered only one edge of each piece so I could curl up all the edges of each petal. Next I prepared my background with metallic texture paste through a stencil along one side of the page. Then I added Distress Oxides to my background to create a shaded area for all the flowers to sit. I added everything to the background starting with the completed cut file and photo with dimensional foam adhesive. Next I added tFloral Die Cuts and fussy cut flowers from Paper 7, arranging them around my photo in a pleasing way to the eye. I also used pieces from the Puffy Phrase Stickers including small flowers, hearts, and a title. Just below the title I added one of the Journaling Spots which I cut in half and then added my journaling. White acrylic paint splatters across the florals complete my layout.
I hope you’ve been inspired to give the Half Flower Cut File paired with Blooming Wild a try on your next project. Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day!
