Hello friends! Valerie Bisson here here and my challenge for iNSD in Paige's Happy Scrappy Place Facebook Group was to feature squares!
I created a fun page documenting my daughter doing some rock climbing using Blooming Wild. I started with Paper 5 for my background and added paint splatters in several colors to mimic the rocks in the photos. I also added a little modeling paste through Paige’s past Star Confetti Stencil in three spots around the page. Next I added a bold title to the left side of the page using the Chipboard Alphabet Outlines and backed them with papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad. To incorporate the squares on my page I grouped them with each of my three photos. I used a combination of the Chipboard Tiles and punched 1” squares from the 6x8 Paper Pad. For other fun ways to use squares I also hand stitched around some of the shapes and added two of my photos in the Chipboard Frame Stickers. Then just a bit of embellishing using word phrases from the Sticker Book, punched out stars from the 6x8 Paper Pad, and some Mini Flower Puffy Stickers peeking out in spots around the page. Some handwritten journaling completes the layout!
I loved seeing all your projects featuring SQUARES in the Happy Scrappy Place Facebook Group comments of my challenge! Winners will be announced tomorrow!
