Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here today and I’m so happy to share a new scrapbook page with you featuring the Paige's Birdhouse from her 20 Spring Cut Files along with the Blooming Wild and Garden Shoppe collections!
I started by cutting the birdhouse out of white cardstock. Next I chose the Blooming Wild and Garden Shoppe collections to back the cut file, using up some of my scrap pieces. For backing the birdhouse I used a woodgrain paper from my stash of supplies. Next I cut an offset layer around the entire cut file with Paper 13 and popped it up on top of the same paper. Then I added white acrylic paint splatters around the page using a small paint brush. All that was left to do was a little embellishing which included Thickers for my title, Cardstock Stickers, Chipboard Stickers fussy cut butterflies from Paper 16, and labels from Paper 13. Everything was placed in a visual triangle around the birdhouse and photo. I finished up with a few white enamel dots in each of my three embellishment areas.
I hope you’ve been inspired to give the Birdhouse from her 20 Spring Cut Files along with Blooming Wild a try on your next project. Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day!
