I resized the Waves Background to about an 11x11" shape then cut it from white cardstock. I trimmed the watercolor side of Paper 18, using nearly the whole page, to back the cut file. The dreamy colors of the paper inspired the rest of the layout. For the background I choose the subtle wavy, rainbow grid from Paper 5 and added coordinating splatters of Distress Oxides along the edge of the page. This created even more interest and echoed the water theme even further. I added adhesive foam on the backed cut file and placed it in the center of the inked background to create a hint of depth. I paced the four photos in the center and added the title which is made with the Puffy Phrase Stickers and Thickers along the top and bottom of the photos. I kept embellishments super simple adding tone-on-tone hearts from the Puffy Phrase Stickers, enamel dots, and rhinestones all over the watercolor-backed cut file.
I hope you found some inspiration in this layout and want to try out the Waves Background from the 20 Summer Cut Files on your next project along with Blooming Wild! Happy scrapping!
