Here is my layout for the Paige's Page article in the Summer 2023 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine which you can download and browse for free HERE! I used my Blooming Wild collection and the page features a cut file along with a tutorial for how to back a cut file. You can also download this Painted Rainbow Cut File for free HERE!
Check out the start-to-finish process video and learn how to back a cut file:
To create this layout, I cut the Painted Rainbow from white cardstock and then backed the stripes, clouds, raindrops, and paint brush with a rainbow of patterned papers from Blooming Wild. I popped the backed design up with foam squares onto the watercolory Paper 18 which goes hand in hand with "painting". I added a photo of me'n'Jane into the rainbow.
Next I tucked Floral Die Cuts all around the top curve of the rainbow and made the title with a "together" word from the Puffy Phrase Stickers. I scattered little flowers also from the Puffy Phrase Stickers tone-on-tone across the rainbow. Finishing details include a bit of journaling on a label from the Sticker Book, butterfly Chipboard Stickers, and two small chipboard flowers from the Chipboard Frame Stickers.
I hope this layout inspires you to check out the Summer 2023 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine and try backing a cut file with Blooming Wild papers! Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for stopping by!
