Happy (early) holidays scrappy friends! Heather Rubert here today with a layout featuring the festive Llama from the 25 Christmas Cut Files 2019. And of course, I HAD to pair this adorable cut file with Paige’s new Sugarplum Wishes collection!
To start, I cut the Llama from white cardstock. For the main body of the llama, I used a warmer white cardstock so it would still be visible against the cooler white of the outline. I wanted to use more traditional colors for this layout, so I backed the rest of the llama with a variety of papers from the 12x12 Paper Pad and the 6x8 Paper Pad. For the nose and hooves, I used the gingerbread cookies from Paper 5 for touches of brown. With the llama done, the page was mostly finished! I splashed some watered down white acrylic paint on the background to mimic snow, using a mint cardstock background to match the collection. I matted my photos with a few papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad and tucked a journaling tag from the Ephemera Die Cuts under my photo. I embellished with fun, smaller elements from the Sticker Book, Mini Puffy Stickers, Ephemera Die Cuts, and Floral & Snowflake Die Cuts. My title uses both the Thickers and Mini Thickers from the collection.
There’s so many fun goodies in this collection, I couldn’t resist using a little bit of everything! I hope this layout inspires you to check out Paige’s bundle of 25 Christmas Cut Files 2019 and be sure to get your hands on Sugarplum Wishes!
