Hello scrappy friends! It’s Ashley Neu here and I am super excited to share my next project for the Paige Evans Cut File Design Team. This is the first layout that I have created using Paige’s brand new Sugarplum Wishes collection! If you haven’t checked out this collection yet, you need to! I grabbed the Merry Little Christmas Cut File from the 25 Christmas Cut Files 2020 to document 4 photos of my girls from Christmas of 2014 when we attempted to capture some moments of them in front of the tree. Our youngest daughter did not enjoy the process, as you can see, but the photos still turned out to be pretty darn cute!
From Paper 10 I cut the Merry Little Christmas Cut File and backed the letters with papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I added some foam adhesive onto the back of the cut file and adhered it to a purple cardstock background. I have been challenging myself to use colored backgrounds instead of white cardstock. It just gives such a different look to the whole layout! I trimmed 4 photos to 2x3” with a white border. I placed 2 photos on each side of the cut file, layering them slightly over the cut file. I love all of the colors that are going on between the cut file and the photos and of course I needed to add some adorable embellishments! From the Cardstock Stickers and the Sticker Book, I added an ornament, a sleigh and a candy cane. I also added a sentiment sticker to the bottom to cut file and the year using red foiled stickers from the Sticker Book.
I hope you are able to get your hands on the Sugarplum Wishes collection! It is just so beautiful and full of jolly goodness! Thank you for stopping by Paige’s blog today and have a great day!
