Hi scrappy friends! Kat Flores here and I’m so happy to be back on Paige's blog sharing my first layout featuring Blooming Wild. I wanted to document the trip I made early summer so when I saw this Map cut file I knew I must use it.
I started by cutting the Map from white cardstock and I backed it with Paper 9 and Paper 15. I love this kinds of papers because they have a lot of prints! I left some spaces empty to add vellum. Once I had the cut file backed, I added hand stitching to the inner and border lines to give more texture. I put foam adhesive on the back of the cut file and placed it over a yellow cardstock background. Then I added a block of the plaid Paper 3 at the top of my page. To cover the line between the patterned paper and the cut file, I placed a lot of flowers from the Floral Die Cuts. I used Thickers to make the title and added a white circle to write journaling. I finished decorating using some phrases and holographic stickers from the Sticker Book and added Mini Flower Puffy Stickers here and there.
I love this colorful layout! I had so much fun creating this page and documenting my trip using Paige's Blooming Wild collection and this cute Map. I hope it inspires you! Have a wonderful day and happy scrapping!
