Ocean Avenue Layout by Heather Rubert

Hello, scrappy friends! Heather Rubert here, and I’ve got a new layout to share today! For this layout I used Paige’s Waves cut file paired with blue & yellow elements from Paige’s Blooming Wild collection. I love how the simple color scheme makes the cut file pop!
For this page I decided to use just the inner pieces of the Waves instead of the outline. First, I cut the Waves from Paper 24 then I took each inner piece and added ink & distressing to the edges for extra texture & dimension. I used the outline as a guide for where to place the inner pieces and then removed it. Foam behind each inner piece adds even more dimension! Next up: photos. I matted both photos with a yellow star paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I wanted to stick with just blue & yellow for this page so I embellished with a few elements from all sorts of Blooming Wild goodies: Mini Flower Puffy Stickers, Chipboard Tiles, Chipboard Frame Stickers, Floral Die Cuts, and the Sticker Book. A title using the Thickers finishes up the page!
I hope you feel inspired to use the Waves cut file in a new way and be sure to check out the Blooming Wild collection. Have a great & scrappy day!
