Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here with a fun whimsical layout featuring Paige's Layered Butterfly cut file and Blooming Wild collection.
For the Layered Butterfly I chose 5 papers from Blooming Wild and the orange paper is from Garden Shoppe. I distressed and machine stitched the edges of all the butterflies to help define all the layers. Next I added dimensional foam squares between the layers and then I added my fussy cut photo in the center. I felt the photo had a better look cutting off all the background. Alternatively, I think two 3x4 photos tucked above the wings would work nicely too. I added my layered butterfly to Paper 18 and a sprinkling of white acrylic paint on the background. I added a title with Thickers and the mini Thickers from the Splendid collection. I embellished with one of the Journaling Spots for the location and date, a rainbow from the Ephemera Die Cuts, a couple Floral Die Cuts, and fussy cut flowers from Paper 12 scattered tone-on-tone around the page.
