Hi everyone! Yui Oku here today with a new layout using Paige's Merry & Bright Cut File along with her Sugarplum Wishes collection! Last year we went to various places to see Christmas lights so I wanted to highlight these photos with a fun cut file.
At first I was thinking of making colorful lights using patterned paper in various colors as usual. But I remembered that I made such a layout last year. I wanted to try something new, even if just a little different. And I like simple layouts as much as colorful ones. So I chose pink for background and gold for the lights and title. I thought of various ways to make it gold, and this time I tried using gold paint. For the title, I painted the negative parts and attached them back in place with foam tape. For the lights, I had thrown away the negative parts lol, so I painted directly on the background paper. For embellishments I added clusters using Cardstock Stickers, Floral Die Cuts, the Sticker Book, and Foam Stickers!
