Hi friends, Kelly Daye here celebrating the beauty of fall with three of Paige’s pretty collections: Garden Shoppe, Splendid, and Blooming Wild along with her Pumpkins cut file. I focused on yellow, pink, orange, and green elements only. Limiting your color palette makes it easier to combine collections and Paige’s collections mix so well. I love that!
After paper-backing Paige's Pumpkins cut file, I back-stitched with coordinating DMC floss for lots of definition. To make the pretty background, I used two of the Lace Envelopes from Splendid, one as a stencil and one to add a pretty texture behind my photo. Carved Pumpkin, Kitsch Flamingo and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxides were blended with a soft touch. I used white cardstock for both the cut file and background. All the flowers and leaves are Floral Die Cuts from Splendid. If you don’t have them in your stash, pick up the Splendid Digital Collection and make as many as you need! The quilted heart tucked into the right side of the floral border is from the Blooming Wild Sticker Book and a good example of how easy it is to mix Paige’s collections. I added the year with Splendid Mini Foam Thickers. I really love the big Chipboard Alphabet Outlines from Blooming Wild. The ‘L’ was actually paper backed with a card from the Blooming Wild Boxed Cards. Check them out for more patterns and colors that aren’t seen in the paper collection! The pretty foiled banner across my photo is from the Splendid Cardstock Stickers as are the tiny hearts. Gold is a nice neutral, you can blend on to any layout. Did you notice the vellum butterflies? Use white on white for an extra subtle texture!
I hope you’re inspired to mix up your favorite Paige Evans collections for your own, one-of-a-kind creation along with her cut files!
