Hello scrappy friends! Kat Flores here and I’m so happy to be back on Paige's blog sharing my final design team layout! I’m ready for spring and I can't wait to fill everything again with flowers and lots of color! For my layout I chose the Flower Border from the 19 Spring Cut Files along with the Blooming Wild collection.
I started with Paper 13 as the base and I cut stripes from Paper 10 to make borders. I added hand stitching to the paper borders. Once I had that done, I glued them down across the center of my page and then I cut the Flower Border from white cardstock. I decided to not back the cut file and leave it as is. I cut a Floral Die Cut in half to tuck behind the cut file then I tucked the cut file pieces behind the paper stripe borders. I fussy cut extra flowers from the Floral Transparency and added white sequins over some of the flowers. For extra texture I splattered white and gold paint. For placing my photos, I used frames from the Ephemera Die Cuts and stickers from the Sticker Book to decorate them. For my title, I overlapped letters from the Thickers tone-on-tone then added hearts from the Puffy Phrase Stickers. To finish I wrote journaling over a tag and added butterflies across the page, all from the Ephemera Die Cuts.
I love how this page turned out! I really like the contrast between the white cut file and the dark blue background. I hope you are inspired to check out Paige's 19 Spring Cut Files and the Blooming Wild collection!
