Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here and I’m so happy to share my newest scrapbook page with you featuring the Wreath from the 20 Spring Cut Files and the beautiful Splendid collection.
I started with white cardstock for the Wreath Cut File and backed it with patterned paper scraps from Splendid. I also added an offset layer in black cardstock behind the cut file to help give it definition from the background paper. Next I added a little hand stitching around the circle part of the wreath in matching DMC thread and then I popped the wreath up with foam adhesive on Paper 3. Of course I wanted to add white acrylic paint splatters so I covered the wreath and added the paint. So that I could slide my photo behind the floral section of the wreath, I didn’t completely adhere it. Next to the photo I added a sentiment piece cut from Paper 23 to which I added a scalloped border with an edge punch for extra detail. Then it was just a matter of adding in some embellishments as you can see around my page. I used the Thickers for my title along with the "smile" banner Epoxy Sticker, a few Chipboard Stickers, Floral Bouquet Sticker, Heart Paper Clip, a word and a label from the Sticker Book, the Roller Stamp for my date, and hearts from the Sequins and Enamel Shapes.
Thank you so much for being here, I hope you’re inspired to create a layout using the 20 Spring Cut Files on your next project along with the Splendid collection!
