Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here and I’m so happy to share my next cut file design team layout with you featuring Paige's Rain Boots from the 19 Spring Cut Files and her beautiful Blooming Wild collection.
Springtime school photos is what I am documenting in my fun rainbow layout today. I decided to go with the Rain Boots Cut File to accent along side my 4 x 6 inch photo which I matted in pale pink cardstock and the rainbow burst paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad. The larger mat on the photo helps make it stand out. Next I cut the Rain Boots from white cardstock and then backed it with patterned papers from Blooming Wild. I made an offset layer of the cut file using Paper 19 to create definition between the cut file and the background Paper 6. For some subtle detail I added soft ink blending and sprinkles on the background with Distress Oxides. I embellished the layout with labels from Paper 13, pieces from the Puffy Phrase Stickers, Sticker Book, Floral Die Cuts, and Chipboard Stickers. Fussy cut butterflies from Paper 16 sprinkled around the page and enamel dots from my stash add along with a little white acrylic paint splattered in three areas on the page finish up this layout!
