Hello friends! Audrey Mutschall here with a new layout featuring Paige’s Pineapple from the 24 Summer Cut Files and the gorgeous Splendid collection! I started by cutting the Pineapple from white cardstock and backing the leaves with various green patterned papers from the 12x12 Paper Pad. I backed the bottom portion of the pineapple with yellow Paper 21 and also cut out little individual segments that I adhered above the cut file using foam tape. This gives extra dimension to the pineapple and really makes it come to life!
I chose dark pink Paper 8 for the background and added a few splatters of white acrylic paint on top. I placed the pineapple on the left of the page and embellished it with lots of Floral Die Cuts and some fussy cut flowers from Paper 1. My photo is tucked behind the cut file on the right side, embellished with a strip from Paper 21 and an Epoxy Sticker. I had already used up most of my Thickers from the Splendid collection, so I used fussy cut alphas from Paper 8 of the Blooming Wild collection, arranging them to create a title. Lastly, I embellished with fussy cut bees and a cute little bird from Paper 20 as well as a decorative banner from the Ephemera Die Cuts.
