Hello scrappy friends! It’s Yui Oku here sharing a new layout using Paige's Splendid collection and her Summer Phrases from the 20 Summer Cut Files!
First, I was wondering if I should change the color for each letter, or for each word. But I found Paper 13 which has nine colorful stripes and this cut file also has nine lines! Even without traditional backing, just putting the cut file on top of the paper made it look really cute. I looked for small embellishments that matched the size of the letters. I fussy cut images from Splendid patterned papers, added Chipboard Stickers, pieces from the 8-Page Sticker Book, Epoxy Stickers, Buttons, Sequins & Enamel Shapes, Heart Paper Clips, Ephemera Die Cuts, and more! It was so fun to make!
