Exploring Layout by Danielle Miller

Hi friends! It’s Danielle Miller here today sharing my newest layout for Paige's Cut File Design team using the Flower Group cut file and her new Adventurous collection!
I had fun with mixed media on this layout. The background is Paper 4 which I bordered with one of the solid papers from the 12x12 Project Pad. I used Distress Oxides on the background, both Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar. The Flower Group cut file is back with papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad and one of the patterned papers from the 12x12 Project Pad. I inked the leaves of the cut file with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxides and then added a bit of sparkle with texture paste. I did a similar technique with the pink flowers - they are inked with Kitsch Flamingo and then I went over with a frosted pink texture paste. There is lots of sparkle to this layout that is hard to catch on camera. My photo is backed by a floral piece of paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I placed the photo over the cut file. Then I used the Floral Die Cuts to add clusters of flowers and leaves around the project. For extra sparkle and interest I used some Sequins and Puffy Phrase Stickers to draw your eye around the layout.
