Hello everyone! It’s Ashley Neu here for the Paige Evans Cut File Design Team to share my next layout. I am so excited to share this page because it features Paige’s new Adventurous collection! This collection is full of fun products that will fill your need to scrap those photos of vacations, fun adventures, or even everyday fun! I used it to document some fishing photos and paired it perfectly with the Gone Fishing cut file.
After cutting the Gone Fishing cut file from white cardstock, I backed it with patterned papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I picked colors that matched the colors in the photos as well as a pink paper and a floral paper. I also added some color to the fishing lures using watercolors. Next, I cut out a rough boat shape from Paper 5. To add some interest to this boat, I stitched with embroidery floss around the border of the boat. This really gives a nice finished look! I adhered a small piece of Paper 4 to the bottom of a piece of white cardstock and added the boat and cut file on top. I tucked in my two photos inside the top of the boat to give the appearance that the subjects in the photos are in my patterned paper boat! I finished off the title of the layout by adding in the word ‘Explore’ from the Chipboard Shapes on top and also added in a few more embellishments from the Cardstock Stickers and Mini Puffy Stickers. The clouds were hand drawn and fussy cut from white cardstock. I hope you have the chance to play with this fun, new collection called Adventurous from Paige and check out her cut files!
