Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here and I’m so happy to share my next layout with you. My page features Paige's Painted Rainbow from the 24 Summer Cut Files and her Blooming Wild collection.
I started by cutting the Painted Rainbow from white cardstock and backed the cloud and paintbrush bristles with papers from Blooming Wild. For the rainbow stripes I cut inner pieces from the rainbow striped Paper 10 and popped up the pieces with foam squares. I used a woodgrain paper from my stash for the handle. Next I created my inked background on a patterned paper from Garden Shoppe. For this I used Distress Oxides and blending brushes in colors matching the rainbow. After this I used each of the colors watered down and sprinkled with a paintbrush to each of the corresponding colors. Then I added the Painted Rainbow and my photos on top. I had a pretty long title in mind so I decided to stamp it, that way I could keep from running out of vowels or other popular letters. I put it along the top edge of the rainbow using alpha stamps from one of Paige’s older collections called Pick-Me-Up. Lastly I embellished with pieces from the Puffy Phrase Stickers, Floral Die Cuts, and Sticker Book. I hope I have inspired you to get creative with Paige's cut files! Have a wonderful & crafty day!
