Hi scrappy friends! It’s Jackie Ashton here sharing a layout using Paige's Summer Tags from the 24 Summer Cut Files and her Blooming Wild collection!
With Summer Tags you get 6 different designs and I decided to use one and enlarge it to approximately 8x6" to make a main focal point on my page. I used white cardstock for the cut file and backed it with a piece of paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad. To add texture, I hand stitched on the inside of each of the letters and added trim to be bottom edge. Before attaching it to my background, I added yellow and pink ink to form a shadow effect around where the tag with be placed. I cut my cardstock down to 11” square, distressing the edges, and backed it on to Paper 3. The large tag was then added to the colored area of the cardstock at a slight angle. I also added ‘BEST’ from the Puffy Phrase Stickers and ‘FUN’ from the Thickers. I backed my 4x4 collage photograph with various papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad, adding labels to the top of the photo mat. For my journaling I cut a card from the Journaling Spots in half and tucked it under the lower edge of my photograph. I finished the layout pieces from the Sticker Book and hearts from the Puffy Phrase Stickers. Thanks so much for stopping by!
