Hello scrappy friends! Phil Donahue here back on Paige's blog with a fun layout featuring her Sunset cut file along with the amazing Adventurous collection!
This colorful layout features a cute photo of my niece exploring a hiking trail along with an interactive shaker element! Here's how I made it: I resized the Sunset cut file to a 10x10" square and cut it out from white cardstock. I backed the clouds with Paper 14, Paper 13, and a deep blue floral from the 12x12 Project Pad. I backed the sun rays with pieces of vellum and Paper 15. I love how the gradient in Paper 15 echoes the colors in a sun set so perfectly! I adhered a piece of acetate to the center sun portion then created a border around it using adhesive foam strips and poured sequins in the center from my remaining Sequins & Trims from the collection along with a mix from my stash. I backed it with a piece of vellum to contain everything. I added the same adhesive foam strips behind the backed cut file and placed it in the center of my background. I used a pink and gold foil paper from the 12x12 Project Pad as my main background. I cut down Paper 18 to an 11x11" square and rounded the edges to reflect the edges in the cut file and layered all elements to create concentric squares. I created my title and embellished the page with frames from the Chipboard Shapes. Final details were vellum florals from the Floral Die Cuts pack and sequins around areas of embellishment to complete the page! I hope you found some inspiration in this layout and choose to try Paige's Sunset cut file along with her beautiful Adventurous collection! Thanks for stopping by and happy scrapping!
