I-Spy Layout by Valerie Bisson

Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here and I’m so happy to share my I Spy layout with you featuring the Circles Petals Background Cut File and Paige’s new collection called Adventurous!
I cut the Circles Petals Background Cut File from white cardstock and backed it with one of my favorite papers for backing, Paper 18. It has lots of color and pattern so I don’t have to cut into multiple sheets of paper. The 12x12 Project Pad has a few exclusive papers that you won’t find anywhere else, this is where I pulled the pretty blue paper from which I used for a torn edge strip and also some of the centers of the circles. I also used 2 papers from the 12x12 Project Pad - the grid paper for the background and the pink pattern. Before adding anything to the background I added watered down Distress Oxides and splattered it across the page. Next I added the cut file to the page. Just to note I backed all of the cut file flat except for 6 of the diamond shaped centers to which I added foam adhesive - this way I would have a little space to tuck embellishments in. I decided to make my photos round using 2 circle punches, 2” and 2 1/2” in keeping with the design of the cut file. Then it was just a matter of adding a title and embellishments throughout my layout for that fun I-Spy look and feel. Embellishments used include pieces from the Mini Puffy Stickers, 8- Page Sticker Book, Cardstock Stickers, Thickers, Charm Staples, Ephemera Die Cuts, and Enamel Stickers. If you’re wondering how I put the charm staple in place without the the Charm Stapler I simply pierced it through my page where I wanted it - you can see it in the upper left corner of the layout. I hope you fun creating with Paige's cut files and her new Adventurous collection!
