Hello scrappy friends! Phil Donahue here back on the blog with a road trip-themed layout using Paige's Slug Bug cut file along with the amazing Adventurous collection! This layout features six landscape photos I captured while on a road trip across the country.
I sized the Slug Bug cut file down to fit a 7" width, cut it out from white cardstock, and backed it with papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad. The pink side of Paper 4 served as my main background then I trimmed and distressed Paper 24 from the 12x12 Paper Pad to complete the base. I matted the photos with scraps from the patterns I used to back the cut file, embellished with pieces of Washi Tape, and adhered them to the landscape paper. I added Sequins to border the torn wedge I made in the landscape paper and added more to embellish on other areas in the layout. I created my title with the Thickers and a subtitle with the Mini Thickers - I love when a collection has both to make super easy and cohesive titles! Final embellishments were Enamel Stickers and splatters of gold paint around the page to complete the layout! I hope you found some inspiration in this post and choose to try Paige's Slug Bug cut file along with her Adventurous collection! Thanks for reading and happy scrapping!
