Sailboat Layout by Audrey Mutschall

Hello friends! Audrey Mutschall here with a layout featuring Paige’s Sailboat cut file and her new Adventurous collection!

I started by resizing the Sailboat cut file to about 6x9” and cut it from white cardstock. I backed the bottom of the sailboat with the pink floral Paper 12 from the 6x8 Paper Pad and backed the sails using fringed strips of floral Paper 9 from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I wanted to create a little scene, so I decided to use the blue and turquoise scallops from Paper 22 to make ‘waves’ at the bottom of the page. I adhered these to a white background using foam tape, tucked my sailboat into the waves on the left of the page, and arranged my photos on the right side. I used one of the Chipboard Shapes for a title at the top of the page and then embellished with fussy cut butterflies from Paper 19, fussy cut clouds from Paper 6, Cardstock Stickers, stickers from the 8-Page Sticker Book, and Ephemera Die Cuts. Lastly, I added a few blue and turquoise fish using Paige’s Fish Background cut file.
