Hello scrappy friends! Sophie Delorme here and I am happy to share this new layout with you using Paige's new Adventurous collection and her Summer Sun cut file!
I decided to create a mixed media background with different shades of yellow inks from my stash. I backed the word Summer with the pink floral paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad and the sunrays with Paper 22. I machine stitched around the sun and mounted the cut file on foam dots before adhering it to the page. I fussy cut two pieces of scalloped borders from Paper 22 and placed them beneath my photo. I also used a few beautiful Chipboard Shapes to embellish the page. Finally, I hand wrote my journaling directly on the background and fussy cut a few butterflies from Paper 19 as the finishing touch! Thank you for stopping by and have a crafty day !
