Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here today and I’m so happy to be back sharing a new layout with you featuring Paige's Adventure Awaits cut file and her Adventurous collection!
I started my background with a fun tattered edge using the edge of my scissors then matted it on a beautiful contrasting paper, both from the 12x12 Paper Pad. Next I cut the Adventure Awaits cut file from white cardstock and backed it with various papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad and the 12x12 Paper Pad. For my photos I matted them on white cardstock and added photo corners. Then I matted it with the same treatment as the background paper. I added the cut file to my page with foam squares and placed it low enough so I could still see the mountains on the background paper - I like how it mimics the mountain in my photo. After the main features of the page were in place I could move on to some embellishing. I used pieces from the Floral Die Cuts, the Sticker Book, Mini Puffy Stickers, Chipboard Shapes, and Enamel Stickers across my layout. For a fun added feature I used the Acrylic Stamps, stamping the sign post on the beautiful blue floral paper which you can only find in the 12x12 Project Pad. After I fussy cut it out I added some word stickers from the Sticker Book and topped it with a cute binoculars Mini Puffy Sticker. The last few additions include stitching on the Chipboard Shape at the bottom of the page to hold my date and white acrylic paint splatters.
