Happy Haunting Layout by Audrey Mutschall

Hi scrappy friends! Audrey Mutschall here today with a new layout featuring Paige’s Haunted House cut file and her Tricks & Treats collection!
I used black cardstock to cut the Haunted House and backed it with the plaid side of Paper 7 and the checkered side of Paper 9, along with a little section of ghost patterned Paper 6 for the curtains in the windows. As soon as I saw Paper 7 with the little houses I knew that I wanted to use it for my background - it’s absolutely adorable! I decided to make some extra hills out of white cardstock and dotted Paper 2, alternating those in the foreground. I hand-stitched borders of embroidery floss in purple, turquoise, and pink along the hills for extra texture and a pop of color. Once the hills were assembled and stuck down with foam tape, I adhered the haunted house on the left side of the page and then got to work embellishing. I decorated the house with Mini Puffy Stickers, Cardstock Stickers, Ephemera Die Cuts, and Enamel Dots. I backed my photo with a piece of black & purple striped Paper 8, and embellished around it with Ephemera Die Cuts and Floral Die Cuts. I had so much fun creating this Halloween scene and I hope it inspires you to check out the Tricks & Treats collection and Paige's cut files!
