Hi friends! It’s Ashley Neu here for the Paige Evans Cut File Design Team to share my next project! I am excited to get into documenting all things fall and Halloween. Paige’s Tricks & Treats collection is finally here and it’s definitely my favorite Halloween collection ever! It is so gorgeous with a hint of spookiness! I used this Trick or Treat title from Paige’s 20 Halloween Cut Files to document some past Halloween photos from 2014. Now is better than never!
After cutting the Trick or Treat title from white cardstock and backing it with Paper 7, I adhered it onto Paper 3. I was so excited to see this purple tone-on-tone patterned paper because I knew it would be the perfect background paper!! Because Paper 7 had 3 main colors (yellow, orange, and pink), I embellished the layout using the tone-on-tone technique. I grabbed pieces from the Cardstock Stickers and Floral Die Cuts and tucked pieces in and around the cut file. Lastly, to ground the cut file, I added a piece of the floral Washi Tape underneath the word “treat”.
