Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here today and I’m so happy to be back on Paige’s blog to share a new layout with you featuring Paige's Candy Wreath cut file and her Tricks & Treats collection.
I started with Paper 1 for my background followed by the Candy Wreath cut from white cardstock. Next I backed the cut file using most of the patterned papers from Tricks & Treats and also added an offset layer cut from a light teal cardstock. Then I did a little ink blending on the background to make a glowy halo for the Candy Wreath to sit. After this I placed my photo, a couple of tags from the Ephemera Die Cuts, and made the title with the Mini Foam Thickers and Puffy Phrase Stickers in the center of the wreath. For a fun technique I used the Washi Tape on white cardstock to punch out stars and photo corners. A few more embellishments with pieces from the Mini Puffy Stickers, Cardstock Stickers, and Enamel Dots scattered around the wreath. Paige has a fun Halloween Roller Stamp in her shop which I used to stamp October 31. The finishing touch for me was black watercolor paint splatters in three areas around the page. I hope you’re inspired to create with Paige's cut files and Tricks & Treats!
