Kelly Daye here with a layout featuring Paige’s beautiful Adventurous collection and part of her One Day At A Time cut file.
While on our way to an east coast scrappy event, my bestie Nadine and I visited Montreal. It was for only one day, but we made over 16,000 steps that day!! I cut "One Day" from white cardstock three times because I like the depth created by gluing three cut files together. I paper backed it with colors from Paper 18. I love all the colorful frames on pretty Paper 17, they introduce so many colors you can use on the rest of a page. It’s a little change-up from white, but still a neutral background. I made a banner from the metallic wordie paper found in the 6x8 Paper Pad. It adds some nice bling! I used a scallop punch to make the navy trim from Washi Tape. A little cluster of elements decorate a Chipboard label. I’m loving the colorful Mini Alpha’s spelling out ‘Old Montreal’. My photo is backed with a pretty postcard and tag from the Journaling Ephemera. Once in place, I created generously layered clusters using the Floral Ephemera, Cardstock Stickers, Enamel Dots, Mini Puffy Stickers, Chipboard flowers, flowers from the Sticker Book, and fussy cut butterflies from Paper 19. I love that there are so many different types of floral elements to layer up in Adventurous including vellum, chipboard, cardstock, rub-ons, and stickers. They make every page interesting, colorful and happy!
