Hello spooktacular friends! Phil Donahue here back on the blog with a Wednesday Addams inspired layout featuring Paige's Tricks & Treats collection and her Spiderweb from the 13 Halloween Cut Files! This layout was loosely inspired by the stained glass window from the Netflix series and showcases some cute photos of my niece wearing a Wednesday t-shirt!
To begin, I cut the Spiderweb out of the black & white B-side of Paper 12. Next I tore the pink Paper 11 from corner to corner, removed a 1/4 inch from the other two sides, and distressed and inked all edges with black ink. I adhered the distressed pink paper to the bottom right of a black and subtle pink dot paper from my stash. I added glue to the center of the Spiderweb and placed it in the center of the page, allowing the edges to lift. The cut file served as the perfect base for the photos and embellishments. I added pink embellishments to the black half of the page and black elements to the pink side of the page, all from the Ephemera Die Cuts and Floral Die Cuts. My title was inspired by Paige's Happy Scrappy Place Facebook group cover photo. I used a random assortment of letters from the Puffy Phrase Stickers which created a fun and whimsical title with letters more to scale with the page! Final touches were strips of Washi Tape on either side of the page and sprinkles of black and pink Enamel Dots.
