Tis’ the season to celebrate! Kelly Daye here with a new layout using Paige's Sugarplum Wishes collection and her "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" from the 25 Christmas Cut Files 2020. That’s me at age six, visiting a ‘not-too-convincing’ Santa, LOL. (PS - all supplies are now linked at the end.)
I made the cut file from white cardstock and paper-backed it using the 6x8 Paper Pad. I tucked everything into snow drifts that I cut by hand and chain stitched with all six strands of DMC floss B5200 - it’s the brightest white. I used the offset feature in the Silhouette Design Studio to make the pink cardstock shadow so it stands out on the white snowdrifts. I always love making little vignettes around the page with lots of embellishments. The nice thing about having the digital collection (available at AC Digitals) is printing them in the size that works best in your design. I used 3D foam tape to create texture and shadows. I also tucked in some sparkly tulle from my stash! Happy merry making in your home this year!
