Here is a festive double-page spread I made with my Sugarplum Wishes collection last year! As soon as the Christmas buckets from our basement storage make their way upstairs, my cats get crazy excited! They know it’s almost time for things to get “lit”! And so, I dedicate this spread to them, always up to “snow” good, definitely on the naughty list, you’ve “cat” to be “kitten” me right “meow”. I could go on all day with silly kitty puns :)
I cut four patterned papers in half diagonally and pieced them together to create the angled background. Over the seams I layered on flower, snowflake, and Christmas icon die cuts. I tucked two photos of Amy into the embellishments on the left and two photos of Sandy into the embellishments on the right.
I filled in some open gaps with stickers as well as a little journaling spots which I wrote on with a matching color of pen. The title is "MEOWY Christmas" :)
A dash of star stickers & enamel dots and sprinkling of snowflake mini puffy stickers "falling from the sky" complete the scene! You could splatter white acrylic paint and/or watercolors across the spread for a unifying layer. There is room for additional photos if you have more that you want to include! Maybe you have dogs instead of cats so you could make a title such as “Merry Chrismutts”, “furry & bright”, “Santa Paws”, etc.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you found some inspiration!
