Hello friends! Audrey Mutschall here with another Christmas layout using Paige's Sugarplum Wishes collection and her Merry Christmas Lights from the 25 Christmas Cut Files 2023 (supplies are linked at the end).
I started by cutting the design from white cardstock and backing it with a variety of papers from the 12x12 Paper Pad, the 6x8 Paper Pad, and the Boxed Cards. I also used a silver glitter cardstock for the lightbulbs. Then I got to work creating a background winter scene for the cut file. I cut snowy “hills” from polka dot Paper 5 and lilac colored cardstock and then added a border of backstitching in embroidery floss along each layer. I arranged the hills onto an aqua colored cardstock splattered with white acrylic paint. I used foam tape to adhere the cut file onto the background and added my photo in the foreground. Lastly, I embellished my winter scene with Die Cuts, Cardstock Stickers, pieces from the 8-Page Sticker Book, Mini Puffy Stickers, and a Washi Tape bow.
