Hello friends, it's Heidi Lewis back on the blog to share a playful Christmas layout made with Paige's Sugarplum Wishes collection and two of her cut files (supplies are linked at the end).
I started by cutting and hand stitching the letters "O" and "H" from the A and B sides of Paper 7 using the Uppercase Alphabet for Stitching Cut File. Paige has a great tutorial on how to create a chain-link stitch HERE. Next I cut out the Reindeer from white cardstock and colored it with alcohol markers using colors that coordinate with Sugarplum Wishes. I only wanted the antlers, so I cut off the rest of the deer. I arranged the title, photo, and antlers on a piece of plain white cardstock creating a visual pyramid on the page. I used Thickers to create the rest of the "Oh Deer" title. I added Washi Tape borders to the top and bottom of the page for an extra pop of color. Naturally, I had to include some reindeer Ephemera Die Cuts to match the theme of the page. Some star-shaped Cardstock Stickers add a touch of whimsy to the page while a floral wreath and stickers add some extra detail to the title. I also layered Mini Puffy Stickers onto the sleigh. Of course you can't have reindeer without Santa, so I added a Santa Paper Clip to my photo as a final detail. Thanks for stopping by to learn how I made this playful reindeer layout come together!
