Hello scrappy friends! Phil Donahue here back on Paige's blog with a colorful & sparkly layout featuring her Adventurous collection and Star Wreath from the 36 New Year Cut Files. This layout documents a photo of me with some friends celebrating New Year's Eve festivities along with a fun star motif throughout the page!
My main inspiration for this layout was the super colorful b-side of Paper 8 - the stars, colors, and energy of the paper perfectly match the vibes of the photo I wanted to feature. To begin, I cut the design from white cardstock and backed it with various colors pulled from the inspiration of glitter paper from my stash. To tie in the dark tones in the photo, I stamped a star pattern in various areas of the layout using black ink. I created my title using the Mini Thickers. I added a journaling spot from the Ephemera Die Cuts and phrase stickers from the 8-Page Sticker Book. Lastly, I adhered strips of glitter paper at the bottom of the page and embellished with more glitter stars and enamel dots to finish the layout.
