Hello friends, Kelly Daye here celebrating the love of my family! This is me and my brothers last summer. I told them, “I’ll be a rose between the thorns”, and we all laughed. I’ve used Paige’s Flower Heart cut file and a combination of her classic Bloom Street and Horizon collections. Paige also has bundles in her shop dedicated to love themed cut files: 12 Love Cut Files & 14 Valentine Cut Files.
To begin, I made a circle frame in Silhouette Design Studio and cropped the center of the Flower Heart cut file; this way I didn’t have to paper back the entire cut file, only the part not covered by my photo. Then I chain stitched sequins around my photo. It’s popped up in the center with foam tape. The title was made with Paige’s Wonders Thickers and they’re still available! For a pretty background, I tore the bottom off of Bloom Street Paper 16 and added Horizon Paper 23. Don’t they coordinate perfectly? I love this about Paige’s collections, they can be mixed together with such a pretty effect. The floral embellishments are Horizon and the butterflies were fussy cut from Horizon Paper 7.
