Hello scrappy friends! Phil Donahue here back on Paige's blog with a fun and energetic layout featuring her Circles Background cut file and the ever-inspiring Adventurous collection! This layout features fun shaker elements, iridescent colors, and cute photos of my niece playing with bubbles!
In Cricut Design Space, I used the Offset tool to make the width of the circles wider by .05 of an inch. This would allow for easier backing with foam tape later in the process to create shaker pockets in various circles around the page. I cut the shape out of iridescent foil paper and backed the circles with various pattern papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad, scraps from my stash, vellum, iridescent paper, and acetate for the areas I wanted to make into shakers. After adding adhesive foam to the circles backed with acetate, I poured sequins and secured them with a circle of vellum behind. I adhered the backed cut file to the energetic yellow Paper 15 - my favorite in the collection! I added the photos and the title then embellished the page with more patterned paper circles along with clear and iridescent enamel dots to mimic bubbles around the layout. I hope you found some inspiration in this layout and choose to try Paige's Circles Background cut file along with her Adventurous collection! Thank you for stopping by and happy scrapping!!
