Happy Day Layout by Jackie Ashton

Hello friends! Jackie Ashton here with my next design team layout using Paige's Blooming Wild collection.

I started my layout by trimming patterned papers into 12x1" strips and distressing the edges. I used Paper 2, Paper 3, Paper 7, Paper 8, Paper 11, Paper 17, and Paper 18.  I trimmed each strip down so that they were staggered in width on a white cardstock background. To add texture I machined stitched a line along the center of each strip. My photograph measures 3x4” which I backed with papers from 6x8 Paper Pad and tucked in two tags from Paper 9 to add detail to the top of my photograph. To embellish my page, I used pieces from the Cardstock Stickers, Sticker Book, Chipboard Shapes, and scattered a few of the Flower Charms along some of the strips. I love how this layout came together using a few strips of patterned paper! Thanks for stopping by!
